Power is back on in downtown East Lansing after a brief outage
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The local power provider has announced that the outages affecting downtown East Lansing have been resolved. More than 1,300 residents and businesses were impacted.

Earlier, over 1,300 LBWL customers in East Lansing experienced an outage Friday evening.
According to the BWL outage map, two separate outages were centered in downtown East Lansing, each impacting roughly 670 customers.
The cause has not been disclosed, but BWL expected power to be restored before 10 p.m.
